BRYSON CITY-The
Beer Advocate, arbiter of all things holy, reports that a new brewery is under construction in downtown Bryson City.
This will be the second commercial microbrewery west of Asheville, the first being Heinzelmannchen, in Sylva, now five years along.
From the Advocate:
The [Nantahala Brewing Company] brewery is in the process of being built next door to “Across the Trax” and across the street from the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
The founders and brewers are the award winning home brewers and writers for Southern Brew News Chris and Christina Collier.

Now that’s good news! I’ve heard rumors of a Tuckasegee Brewing Cooperative that also may be brewing.
Awesome! Where will TBC be located?
